Ardbeg An Oa 0.7 L

Ardbeg An Oa is a tribute to the peninsula of the same name in the southwest of Islay, known for its wild nature and dramatic cliffs. This whisky matures in a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, first-fill bourbon casks, and new oak casks. The different aromas are harmoniously blended in Ardbeg's special "Gathering Vat".

Tasting Notes

Aroma: An inviting scent of sweet toffee, dark chocolate, and warm spiced smoke. Notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of citrus round off the aroma.

Taste: On the palate, there is a perfect balance of sweet honey cream, spicy smoke, and light fruitiness. Subtle aromas of anise, roasted nuts, and caramelized pear provide depth and complexity.

Finish: The finish is long and smooth with warm smoke, soft oak, and a pleasant spiciness.
