Aroma:
Aberfeldy 12: Incense with the scent of heather honey and a little sherry.
Aberfeldy 16: Apple, butterscotch, notes of brown sugar, sultanas, honey, and cinnamon. Hints of orange oil, nutmeg, licorice, and earthy ginger root.
Aberfeldy 21: Sweet scent of honey, vanilla cream, peaches, and pears, with some marzipan and hazelnuts.
Taste:
Aberfeldy 12: Light, slightly oily and fruity with mandarin.
Aberfeldy 16: Smooth and soft, yet rich and full-bodied. Initially, apple and orange notes dominate, then orange takes over and the fresh apple becomes baked apple.
Aberfeldy 21: Soft and round with sweet notes of vanilla, apricot, pears, and grapes. Plus some honeydew melon and almond cake.

Aberfeldy 12: Long finish with spicy hints of kumquats.
Aberfeldy 16: Medium long after candied orange peel and butter toffee. Later, the earthy tones of ginger and wood spices emerge.
Aberfeldy 21: Mild and spicy, less fruity and sweet.
