The Aberfeldy Distillery is one of the last intact distilleries in Perthshire. When Bacardi took over the Deware family's distillery in 1998, the product portfolio was significantly expanded, especially with extra-class single malts. Until then, primarily outstanding blended whiskies had been distilled. With the Aberfeldy 16 Year Old, you get a true top-quality whisky at a fair price, which does not have to hide from its older brother, the Aberfeldy 18 Year Old, which is only bottled for the duty-free market. With a unique mildness, typical for Aberfeldy whiskies, a fantastic variety of aromas unfolds on the nose and, of course, on the palate, in perfect balance between citrus, honey, oak and spices. A hint of ginger brings an interesting light spiciness to the Scotch and expertly rounds off its complexity. How the Aberfeldy 16 Year Old tastes

Nose: Sweet with sherry notes and spicy with cloves and fruit cake.

Palate: Very smooth with the sweetness of citrus fruits and honey and sherry, notes of dark chocolate.

Finish: Long sweet finish with some oak spice.
