The 1770 Glasgow Single Malt comes from the Glasgow Distillery Company, founded in 2014. As the first independent distillery in Glasgow in over 100 years, it stands for high-quality, handcrafted single malts produced with passion and precision.
The 1770 Glasgow Single Malt - 6 years old - PX Cask Finish #18/1204 was initially matured in classic American oak casks. Afterwards, it received a finish in a former Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask, which gave it a special sweetness and deep fruitiness.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: The aroma is rich and inviting with notes of dried figs, raisins, and dark chocolate. A hint of orange marmalade rounds off the aroma.
