The 1770 Glasgow Single Malt comes from the Glasgow Distillery, which since its reopening in 2014 has combined Scotland's tradition of whisky craftsmanship with modern innovation. As Glasgow's first independent distillery in over 100 years, it stands for high-quality, handcrafted single malts produced with passion and precision.

This whisky first matures in American ex-Bourbon casks before receiving a special finish in Cognac casks. This combination of cask types gives it impressive depth and an elegant, fruity note.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: The scent unfolds fruity notes of ripe apricots and peaches, accompanied by a hint of honey and citrus. Gentle oak aromas, sweet smoke, and floral nuances complete the aroma.

Taste: On the palate, the whisky convinces with a pleasant sweetness of vanilla and caramel, which combines with the fruitiness of grapes and light spices. A subtle hint of roasted nuts provides additional complexity.

Finish: The finish is medium-long and smooth with a delicate spiciness, slight dryness, and a pleasant aftertaste of Cognac-typical fruitiness.
