Glenlivet Founder's Reserve 40% vol. 0.7 l

In honor of George Smith, who founded the distillery in 1824 and made the Glenlivet brand famous for its exceptional quality and fruitiness.

The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve matured in American First Fill casks, which, along with the lantern-shaped stills, are responsible for the fruitiness of the Founder's Reserve.

Tasting 1

Eye: Pale gold. Nose: Delicate aromas of citrus and remarkably sweet orange. Palate: Sweet, fruity notes of zesty oranges and pears, with hints of candied apples. Well-balanced and exceptionally smooth. Finish: Long, creamy and smooth. Tasting Notes by Glenlivet

Tasting 2

Bright golden yellow. Immediately fresh, vibrant and fruity on the nose. Initial aromas of green apples and pears are followed by hints of honeycomb and a lot of vanilla. In the background, coconut, fresh sawdust, candied/burnt orange and hints of almonds. On the palate, just as vibrant and fresh as the aromas – spicy, green apples and hard pear drops. The vibrancy gives the whisky a light feel. Vanilla, crumbly brown sugar and honey develop, giving the whisky a beautiful sweetness. After a while, woody spices emerge, reminiscent of a combination of sawdust and baking spices (especially cinnamon and nutmeg). Becoming drier. Delayed notes of candied orange and white chocolate with hints of white pepper and dried ginger. The finish is relatively short with the previous flavors from the palate.
