Dingle Distillery was founded in 2012 by Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart, and Peter Mosley in the picturesque coastal town of Dingle in southwest Ireland. As Ireland's first independent distillery in over 100 years, Dingle Distillery aims to produce handcrafted spirits of the highest quality. Dingle Single Malt Whiskey is made from malted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. It is aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and PX sherry casks, which impart its complex aromas. Maturation in the salty sea air and humid climate of Dingle develops the whiskey's distinctive character. The careful selection of casks and the long maturation period contribute to the diversity of flavors and depth of this exceptional single malt.
