The Bushmills 10 Year Cuvée Cask from the Causeway Collection is an exceptional single malt whiskey that combines the tradition and craftsmanship of the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery with innovative cask finishes. Exclusive to the German market and limited to just 7,000 bottles, this whiskey is a true collector's item. With a cask strength of 54.8% vol. and no chill-filtration or coloring, it remains as authentic as possible.

The name "Causeway" refers to the "Giant's Causeway," a UNESCO World Heritage site in Northern Ireland located in close proximity to the Bushmills Distillery. This mystical landscape of basalt columns inspires the Causeway Collection and symbolizes the giant-good work of past generations.

The Bushmills 10 Year Cuvée Cask initially matured for eight years in selected Oloroso sherry casks and ex-Bourbon barrels. It then received an exclusive finish in Cuvée casks that were used for the first fermentation of Champagne. This special finish gives the whiskey a unique complexity and depth.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense aromas of lemon and grapefruit harmonize with sweet strawberry and a subtle oak note. Vanilla and woody nuances round off the bouquet.

Taste: Robust and full-bodied with sweet vanilla in the foreground, accompanied by caramel, apples, and tangerines. The texture is velvety-smooth and balanced.

Finish: Medium-long with an aftertaste of citrus fruits and a delicate oak spice. The finish is pleasant and leaves a harmonious impression.
