Tasting 1

Light golden yellow in color. On the nose, light, delicate, and sweet. Initial aromas of honey and vanilla are followed by softer hints of malted barley and freshly cut grass. Additionally, a hot, alcoholic note with hints of lemon zest. Both give the whisky a beautiful freshness. On the palate, very sweet and slightly alcoholic. With a delicate, light mouthfeel, yet also intensely sugary and sweet. Powdered sugar with honey, one might say. Later, a lot of vanilla unfolds with malted grain and noticeable grassy elements. It seems to me more like dried grass here, not like in the aromas. A touch of lemon is added. The alcoholic trace remains permanently in the background and imparts a spicy warmth. The finish is rather short and sharp. The sugary sweetness fades quickly, and the dry grassy and spicy sharp notes remain, fighting it out among themselves. Nose: Very fresh and lively. Clean and fresh with Cox apples and pears, plus mild creaminess and a floral touch. Palate: A little richer than expected, but still soft and fruity with a sweet pastry/cream cake note and floral hints. Finish: Very clean and moderate with soft, mildly fading fruits.
