The Akashi Blend is made from malt and grain whisky. The Akashi convinces with a fine, sweet, fruity, peaty aroma and an equally sweet taste.
The White Oak Distillery was founded in 1888 and was the first distillery in Japan to receive a distillation license for alcohol in 1919.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Floral notes, lemongrass and raisins.
Taste: Sweet with notes of cherry, vanilla and nuts. Slightly peppery.
Finish: Medium-long sweet finish with notes of apricot.
