The Aberlour A’Bunadh Alba Batch 007 is a special bottling from the traditional Aberlour Distillery in the Scottish Speyside. The name A’bunadh means "origin" in Gaelic and represents the classic style of the distillery. While the well-known A’bunadh series matures entirely in sherry casks, the A’bunadh Alba series relies on pure maturation in American oak. This creates a fruity, vanilla-accented Speyside Single Malt with a powerful structure. The bottling is done at cask strength, non-chill filtered and without coloring.

Maturation & Cask Types

The whisky matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks made of American white oak. This type of cask produces particularly intense notes of vanilla, honey, and sweet malt, giving the whisky a bright, fresh aroma.

Character & Tasting Notes

• Aroma: Fresh citrus fruits, vanilla, honey, green apples and a delicate malt note.

• Taste: Powerful and creamy with aromas of vanilla, caramel, ripe pears, almonds and a slight spice nuance.
