On the palate, it impresses with the characteristic Lochlea fruit notes and hints of Brazil nuts. The finish is accompanied by orange and oak notes.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Scottish distillery landscape has recently gained another independent, family-run farm distillery with Lochlea. John Campbell, the former Laphroaig Distillery Manager and current Lochlea Production Director and Master Blender, is responsible for the distinctive style of the single malt. The whisky is made exclusively from barley grown on-site, distilled, and matured on the premises.
